Tuckaway Staple Aquaculture Riser

The Tuckaway Staple Aquaculture riser was a natural development from the highly successful galvanized version. Made of marine-grade 316 Stainless Steel, it is designed to support plastic lines in long line oyster aquaculture and similar marine applications.

The unique design allows lines to be easily removed and repositioned, yet held firmly even in adverse tidal or storm conditions.

Trials over several years at Cowell on the Eyre Peninsula and more recently in the harsh conditions of Tasmania's Bruny Island continue to prove the Tuckaway Staple's durability and excellent retention in the post. Oyster farmers are also amazed at its cost-effectiveness compared to similar plastic products, and appreciate the labour-saving pneumatic installation option. The staple is easily installed to a predetermined depth with the Tuckaway installation tools.

• Horizontal twin leg design reduces splitting of timber along grain.
• Barnacles can't attach well, can be mashed between the two legs.
